Featured Wedding: Michelle and Lynzell

Congratulations to Michelle and Lynzell!

Michelle and Lynzell are such a gorgeous couple!  They are too cute together!  When I finally got to meet them, I had such a great time.  Lynzell had me cracking up with laughter several times throughout our meeting.  They were just so easy going and fun to work with!

They held their reception at the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake.  The room was so pretty!  I've done this cake design in different variations several times before, but this was the first time I had done the design in chocolate fondant with the chocolate fondant lace appliques.  I absolutely loved how it turned out.  It was such a unique twist to this style of cake and looked beautiful!  The ivory bow was made from fondant, and Michelle provided me with the spectacular brooch we used for the center of the bow.  For the top tier, I cut out fondant letters of their initials and wedding date and applied them to the side of the top tier.  I really loved the brown and ivory combo.  It was both beatiful and delicious looking!

I am so happy that Michelle and Lynzell chose me to be part of their special day.  I had such a wonderful time working with them, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and joy together!  Congrats again!
