Cake-A-Licious, Custom Wedding Cakes

Chateau Faire is a new reception center that I've had the pleasure of delivering some cakes to recently, and hopefully many more in the future. I absolutely LOVE this place. It's not a new building. In fact, it was built in the 1920's, but it's been newly transformed into a gorgeous, quaint, and super cozy reception center. It looks like an English Tudor cottage tucked away in this nice little secluded spot you'd never know was there. The first time I got to take a tour, I was in love with every room and every detail. Truth be told, I want to live there, but I don't think they'd let me! :-) The great room has the most interesting ceiling shape, sort of coved with a slight point to it. It's so pretty! And the amazing stone fireplace just adds to the atmosphere. You can hold your ceremony in this room. Isn't it lovely! I love the little balcony from the bride's room that overlooks the great room. For a small, intimate ceremony, this would be such an ideal place! I love this view of the entryway. Cheryl and Patrice own and run this wonderful little place. They have such an eye for detail! They are also so awesome and wonderful to work with. They do such a great job and take such good care of all their brides and grooms. They have the most beautiful cake table (pictured here). It's an antique table and is such a pretty way to display your cake. They offer several different packages, including cakes. This was the first cake I delivered for them. I absolutely loved the cake, and their beautiful decor and cake table made it even better! This photo of the grounds of Chateau Faire is just breathtaking! It's surrounded by thick trees and woods. Every time I go there, I hear the sound of chirping chickadees, my favorite birds! Again, I want to live there. Maybe someday! I just love this magical little place and wanted to share it with you all. If you're looking for a really special place for your wedding and/or reception, I highly recommend checking them out. Cheryl and Patrice are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I hear they are very busy booking weddings, and it's no wonder why!
