Chateau Faire Open House Saturday, March 5, 2023 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. I'm so excited to be a part of the Open House that is being held at the lovely Chateau Faire Reception Villa on Saturday, March 5th! It's a great time to come by and check out this adorable little place. There will be some great vendors there too that you can meet. It's being catered by Sweet Pea Catering (YUM!!) and I will be there with some delicious cake samples for everyone to try and would love to "talk cake" with you! There will even be free bridal makeovers! The Open House will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., so please stop by and check out Chateau Faire, taste some great food and delicious cake, and have a really fun time! |

Congratulations Olivia and Justin! Olivia and Justin's wedding reception was probably my all-time favorite wedding reception to date. Olivia had so many absolutely adorable ideas for her vintage, shabby-chic-themed reception held at the stunning Sleepy Ridge in Orem, Utah. She worked with the fabulous and so talented Linda Winnie for her floral design. I've done a few weddings where Linda and her team have done the floral and design elements and am always blown away by them. |

Congratulations Tara and Jonathan! Tara was such a fun bride to work with. She is so sweet, bubbly, and easy to talk to. I actually didn't get to meet Tara until the day of her wedding when I delivered her gorgeous wedding cake, and she looked absolutely stunning! Tara called me a few months before her wedding to discuss what she wanted. She fell in love with one of my favorite designs, the cake I call the "Antique Bow" cake. It's a cake I designed from several inspirations, but mostly from a frame that I have one of my own wedding pictures in and have loved this frame for years. |

Happy Birthday Dane!  We did this cake for my absolutely adorable nephew, Dane, who just turned 4 years old this past week! My sister showed him several pictures of cakes, from Iron Man to Spiderman to Batman (he loves all the superheroes!), but once he saw a picture of a pirate ship birthday cake, he said "Mom, I want that cake!" Dane was also specific about the flavor he wanted, chocolate cake. For the filling, we decided to go with a kid and adult favorite, cookies 'n cream. |
