Vintage French Cakes A few weeks ago, I was asked to participate in a photo shoot coordinated by the wonderfully talented Michelle Cousins fromUtah Events By Design. Michelle was using the inspiration of a vintage French country theme for the shoot. And as most people who know me well know, the second I hear the words vintage or French country, I'm all ears. I was very excited to get to be part of this. Michelle brought together some fantastic vendors in the wedding industry to be part of this shoot. |

Congratulations Patti and Joe! Patti and Joe were such a great couple to work with. Patti found the cake she wanted in a magazine, and I fell in love with it too the moment she showed me the picture of it. It was a cake that took some additional planning than a typical wedding cake, but I was so excited to get to do it. Patti and her daughters made the pretty cake stand, which as you can see is a huge part of the cake. Because the bow loops and tails hang below the base of the cake, everything had to be made ahead of time in proportion to the height of the cake tiers and stand. |

The Bridal Extravaganza Saturday, April 16, 2023 South Towne Expo Center 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It's bridal show time again! The Bridal Extravaganza at South Towne is such a fantastic show with so many great vendors. Come get a ton of ideas and planning done in one day! I'll be there, so please come stop by our booth.
